Steve Kanaly has had a
varied career, both in front of the camera as an established TV and movie actor, and
behind as Director. Steve is probably most famous for his role as Ray Krebbs in the
hit show Dallas. The character of Ray Krebbs was an instant hit with the fans, starting
off in 1978 as the ranch foreman he allied with JR Ewing to rid Southfork of Pamela Ewing
but by 1982 it was revealed Ray was in fact the 4th son of Jock Ewing and heir to the
Ewing empire. Over his ten year stint in Dallas we witnessed Ray marry twice, get involved
in a fatal attraction, deal with ethical issues such as euthanasia and down syndrome,
battle it out with J.R and constantly attempt to fit in with his wealthy family and
believe he was worthy of the name `Ewing`.
