What happened to the
first Southfork?
The Southfork Ranch located in Texas was picked after producers
helicoptered over the area in search of the perfect setting
for the American television series Dallas. But in 1978, for
five episodes of the mini series the Ewings lived in a totally
different ranch. But what happened to it?
Sources have stated that the owner
of the original ranch was under investigation for some less
savory business deals and decided he did not want a film crew
hanging around so informed the Ewings they would have to move.
And move they did into the home we now all know and love.

Dallas Forum we can now reveal the fate of the first Southfork
Ranch.
As you can see from this photo the
house burned down and is currently a pile of rubble.
