2. How is Christopher related to Sue Ellen?

Sue Ellen is Christopher's blood relative, she is his aunt. Christopher's natural mother was Kristin Sheperd, Sue Ellen's sister. Pam and Bobby adopted Christopher from his natural father Jeff Faraday

2.1 Did JR think Christopher was his child?

Yes he did indeed and was prepared to blackmail Bobby over it, Pamela was rather fragile at the time and JR threatened to reveal the 'truth' if Bobby didn't meet his demands. Obviously it turned out JR wasn't the father, Kristin lost that child when she had a miscarriage. But there was one occasion later on in the series when JR questioned to himself if Christopher was indeed his son.

2.2 Did Christopher know who his real mother was?

In 1987 Christopher overheard Miss Ellie and Clayton talking where they revealed he was adopted. Bobby and Pamela explained to him that it was true and his mother had died and informed him when he was older they would explain the whole story.

2.3 How many 'mothers' did Christopher loose?

You could say three. His biological mother Kristen died when she 'fell' in the Southfork pool, Pamela is assumed dead after her car accident and Bobby's third wife, April, was gunned down in Paris.

3 What do we know about Jock's side of the family?

Not a great deal apart from the fact he had a brother Jason and his wife Nancy who died in childbirth, and a niece and nephew - Jack and Jamie Ewing. There was never any mention of Jock's parents.

4 What do we know about Ellie's side of the family?

Ellie had a brother called Garrison who returned to Southfork in 1979 to die, her father was Aaron Southworth and her mother Barbara Southworth, although in a later season her mother was referred to as Anna.

5.1 What do we know about the Barnes side of the family?

We know Cliff and Pam's grandfather was called Henry Barnes, he worked for Ellie's father on Southfork as a ranch hand. Digger explains this in episode 5 of the mini series. Diggers sister was Maggie Monahan.

5.2 Was Cousin Jimmy, Aunt Maggie's son?

This was never explained but we assume this to be the case. Pam and Cliff called him 'Cousin Jimmy' and they seemed a close family unit. But considering Maggie reared both Cliff and Pamela you would think that Jimmy would of become more of a brother figure but the character of Jimmy vanished in the Dallas wilderness and was never mentioned following the mini series.

5.3 How many children did Rebecca and Digger have?

Three all together Tyler Barnes, Clifford Barnes, Catherine Barnes. Cliff was the only biological child to survive.

5.4 Who was Pamela's biological father?

Rebecca had an affair with Southfork Foreman Hutch Mckinney during the 1950's, she became pregnant with his child, Pamela. In 1980 a skeleton was discovered on Southfork land and it turned out that it was that of Hutch with a bullet hole in the skull. On his death bed Digger confessed to murdering Hutch when he discovered the affair. It was at this point Pamela discovered the identity of her father. Digger had never mentioned this before and had raised Pamela as his own.
