EPISODE 18
An Eye For An Eye
An apartment in Dallas
Katherine lay in the darkness; silence prevailed except of the sound of her laboured breathing. She slowly sat up and began to gather her self together. Standing up she steady herself against the side of the sofa, as her head began to spin, her legs suddenly buckled and she crumbled onto the leather upholstery. Katherine felt raw inside and out, her sight was restricted by what was obviously a cut above her left eye, the blood had dried and the area around had swollen leaving her eye almost closed. Other parts of her body felt bruised and battered however it was the feeling inside her that was the most predominant, she felt violated and empty at the same time.
Breathing deeply to try and control the panic that was rising inside of her again Katherine tried to calm herself down. She could hear the familiar noise in her head; feel the sound of blood rushing in her ears and the heat inside of her. Katherine closed her good eye and could see flashing lights in front of her as a flow of sheer emotion ran through her and she succumbed to the well-known sensation. She let out a animal like scream, kicking at the coffee table in front of her, as her body convulsed in anger and frustration. Katherine flung her body from the sofa as the strength from her emotions fuelled her on and she began a frenzied demolishment of her apartment.
