Cliff
sits in a bar in Dallas. JR slams some photographs down on a table of
JohnRoss and Becky out together at a bar.
Cliff looks
stunned "I had no idea" he says shocked.
JR looks
serious "this has to stop"
Cliff smiles
"well maybe its all innocent, they are kids"
JR picks
up a picture of JohnRoss and Becky kissing. "Does that look innocent
to you? From where im sitting looks like they ate supper before they
said grace" he says sarcastically.
Cliff nods
"well no good as ever come of a Barnes and a Ewing thats for sure"
he says.
JR nods
"This is a nightmare Cliff, this would cause a whole new war between
our two families, and I for one will not allow this, I will do whatever
it takes to end this so I suggest you stop your daughter from engaging
with my son, because like I said I will do whatever it takes "
Cliff nods
"OK I will do what I can"
JR smiles
"now that's what I wanted to hear"
Bobby
sits in the Police station waiting room drinking coffee, Pam walks out
and walks over to Bobby and hugs him.
"Have
they charged you?" Bobby asked.
Pams lawyer,
Clare Geary walks out of the interview room.
"Of
course they did Bobby, I did it, they will be in touch again furthering
their investigation"
Pam answered
coldly.
Bobby turned
to Claire"What's the situation?" he asked.
Claire
clasped her hands together "well Bobby, its not that cut and dry
a case, Pam was obviously trying to protect herself, the prosecution
will try and prove otherwise, my bet is they will go for first or second
degree murder, our job is to prove Pamela killed out of self defense,
the idea here would be a total acquittal".
Bobby looked
concerned "well how easy will that be?"
Claire
smiled "I can`t answer that right now, I need to work on that with
Pam"
Pam rubbed
her head "can you just take me home"
Bobby held
Pams hand "sure" he said smiling
Bobby turned
to Claire "one question, how did the police find out, how did they
know it was Pam?"
"A
phone call, they found the body, but they were told directly to look
for Pamela Ewing"
Bobby looked
thoughtful as he wondered who had called the Police.
Afton
stands watching outside Katherine's hotel room. She hides around a corner
as Katherine's door opens and Katherine appears wearing a coat and leaves
the room and enters the lift.
Afton walks
up to the door and tries to open it. It is locked. Afton thinks for
a moment as the elderly cleaning lady walks along pushing her trolley
of cleaning materials.
"Excuse
me" Afton calls. "I locked my key in, you don`t happen to
have a spare set do you?" Afton asked.
The lady
looked at her suspiciously " I suggest you try the reception lady"
she replied.
"Im
in such a rush, please" Afton asked taking some money out of her
pocket.
The lady
looked at the money and took it "ok" she took out her large
bunch of keys and opened the door. Afton thanked her and walked in.
Afton looked
around the room and walked over to a drawer and began to look through
it. She had no idea what she was looking for but she didn`t trust Katherine
and wanted to prove it.
Sue
Ellen sat behind her desk at Ewing Oil. Her desk was covered in paperwork.
She new time was running for her as the bank had called in its loan.
Her phone
buzzes "What?" Sue Ellen shouts viciously "I told you
not to disturb me"
Her secretary
explains Carter McKay was there to see her. Sue Ellen thought for a
moment "ok send him in" she said.
She sat
back in her chair as Carter walked in.
"Well
well Carter McKay, Im surprised to see you"
Carter
stood in the office "why Sue Ellen?, Im not your enemy" he
explained.
She smiled
"well after that little stunt you pulled the last time we met regarding
Ray Krebbs land, Im not so sure"
Carter
walked over to her desk. "Well Sue Ellen thats in the past and
right now you could use all the friends you have"
Sue Ellen
looked angry, tightening her lips together in an aggressive pout "and
whys that?" She asked.
"Its
common Knowledge Ewing Oil is going belly up and Id lay a bet JR is
behind it" he said
"And
your point is?" Sue Ellen said abruptly
Carter
laughed "that I have a friend who seems to think you have bigger
fish to hook"
Sue looked
down "I have no idea what your talking about"
"Now
now Sue Ellen, I am not your enemy......but I hear you have half of
Texas helping you"
Sue Ellen
stood up "Well Carter I am very busy as you can see, and if I ever
need your help, I`ll ask you, but don`t hold your breath now"
Carter
laughed again "I`ll be in touch" he said leaving.
Sue Ellen
sat back down and threw the papers from her desk angrily.
JR
Ewing stood in the lounge of Southfork holding a drink. Pam and
Bobby arrived home and Pam looks over and spots JR.
Pam looks
at Bobby "one second Bobby". Pam walks over to JR.
"They
let you out I see" JR says smirking.
Pam nods
"oh yes they did".
JR stands
smirking
Pam looks
at him "You think the sun comes up just to hear you crow don`t
you JR?"
JR laughs
"well Pamela if you break the law don`t blame me when they enforce
it now, the whole irony of this one ...if I may be honest?"
"Well
it would be a first.....but please do" She says back
"Well
the ironic thing is that I can just about stomach you living in this
house, but the thought of you sitting at Ewing Oil makes my skin crawl
and I would of done anything to keep you out so my point being I didn`t
have to do a damn thing......you did it all by yourself and for that
my dear Pamela I thank you"
He says
viciously ending on a smile.
Pam smiles
as she thinks, she looks up at JR with a grin on her face.
"There
was even more irony JR, the fact I could be facing a prison sentence,
I would hate to leave without some kind of good-bye, and you know I
found that killing a man is rather like riding a bike, you do it once,
the 2nd time is far easier" she says.
Pam smiles
at him. JR swallows uncomfortably as Pam walks out back to Bobby. Jane
walks out of the lounge.
Pam stops
her "Jane have you seen Christopher?". Jane pulls out a note
from her pocket.
"Yes
madam, he left with miss Lucy a few hours ago," she replied.
"Did
they say where they were going?" Bobby asked.
"No
sir, they left together, and they never mentioned anything"
Bobby looked
at Pam concerned.
