Episode one "Dallas : The Legacy Continues" written by Lee McCormick

A car drives down the highway, a red Mercedes, a tanker pulls out, the car crashes into it and explodes into flames. In dark shadows a man is grabbing a woman, she screams, a gun goes off.

The gun shot echoes out like its travelling a 1000 miles around a sparse area, the echoes go on forever, the screams last a thousand years. The screams of 13 years, the screams of loosing a family, a son. The screams of a woman who discovered how vicious fate could be, how cruel life was, how one day had led to a life time of pain.

Pam wakes up in bed, the room is darkened as the blinds are pulled apart from a gap which allows a beam of light to allow vision.

Pam lays in the bed and stares up at the ceiling. A knock comes at the door. Pam calls out who is it?

The calming voice of Miss Ellie can be heard, Pam gets out of the bed, and puts on a gown, pulling it up to cover the scarring on her neck. "Come in" Calls Pam.

Ellie walks in smiling. "I thought it was getting late and wondered if you were hungry?"

Pamela is back

Pam smiled "Im fine Miss Ellie"

Miss Ellie walked over and pulled the blinds back, the room lit up with the Texas Sun brightly filling the room with light.

Pam pulled the gown up around her neck. Miss Ellie walked over to Pamela and held her hand.

"If you want anything to eat just tell Jane ok?" Miss Ellies face was so warm and comforting, now nearly 80 she seemed so youthful, her eyes so filled with compassion. She gently rubbed Pams shoulder and looked at her with concern. "If you ever want to talk Pam, well you know".

Pamela nodded "Yes I know. I do know". Miss Ellie smiled at her again and walked out the room. Pamela stood alone, and walked over to the mirror and stood in front of it. A single tear rolled down her cheek.

Bobby,Lucy, JR and Sue Ellen sat eating breakfast outside. There is silence as the four of them eat. Lucy puts her fork down "My its quiet" She said with a snigger.

JR looked up at her "Yes Lucy and its a shame it didn`t stay that way"

Lucy raised her eyebrows and smiled to Sue Ellen, Sue Ellen smiled back.

Lucy bit into her apple "quite an Historic day isn`t it JR?" Lucy stated.

"Why you moving out again?" JR said laughing, looking around for Sue Ellen and Bobby to react.

"No" Lucy said "But isn`t Pamela moving in, I mean to Ewing Oil today?"

"Apparently so" JR said resentfully "If she can get up out of bed, what times is that ex wife of yours keeping these days Bob?"

Bobby looked at JR scornfully "Shut it JR"

"Touchy subject huh?" JR continued " Well I was beginning to see Ewing Oil as a threat to Westar but I guess now that Pammy is going to be running it my fears have been quashed. And I would truly like to thank you Sue Ellen for that"

Sue Ellen smiled sarcastically and stood up. "The pleasure is all mine my darlin" Sue Ellen walked around the table. "Bobby will you tell Pam that I`ll see her at Ewing"

Bobby looked up at her "Yes Sue Ellen I`ll tell her"

Sue Ellen acknowledged him, then turned to walk away, but looked back. "This is indeed an historic day, or an ironic day.The Women of Southfork , things have changed a bit havn`t they?

By the way JR, don`t wait up for me, I`m working late"

Sue Ellen turned and continued walking to her car. JR watched as she got in and drove off.

"Not hungry anymore JR ?" Asked Lucy with her usual tact. JR pushed his plate away and got up and walked into the house

Pamela walked down the Southfork stairs. JR stood and looked at her staring.

Pamela continued to walk and stopped in front of him .

"Problem JR?" She asked. JR stood silent, his eyes full of hate, revenge.

"Not happy are you JR?" Pam asked.

"That was my daddys company, how dare you be a part of that. My daddy will be rolling in his grave to know your sitting in his chair" JR said scornfully.

Pam laughed loudly. "His chair? Its not his chair anymore JR, and its not yours either, its mine"

"You`ve waited along time for this havn`t you Pamela? Feel good does it. Well enjoy it while you can"

Pamela walked closer to JR. "You don`t scare me JR, not anymore. For years you intimidated me, for years I let you do that, well not anymore. A new day has arrived JR, things will never be the same again, so do your best to hurt me, do your best , but this time you can`t touch me"

Pam went to walk away, JR grabbed her arm. Pam turned and looked viciously at JR.

"Let go of my arm JR" Pam stated , JR released his grip.

Pam continued "Don`t you ever touch me again, do you understand, don`t you ever do that again, because you`ll be sorry, I swear it."

Pam continued walking, and left the house.

JR stood and went to the telephone, he dialed a number. "Anita its me , I need you to get hold of Ratigan, tell him to hurry up with that information. I need that Barnes woman out of my life and now" JR slammed the phone down.

Pam walked out to where Lucy and Bobby were eating. She poked Lucy on the back. Lucy looked up. "Hi Pam" . Pam asked Lucy to pass her an apple over. Lucy threw the apple over to her. Bobby stood silently watching, his face expressed concern.

"You ok about going in today?" Bobby asked her. "Im fine Bobby really" Pam explained.

Pam turned to Lucy "and what are you doing today?"

Lucy "Im meeting this new artist guy across town, I hear hes good, so while im here in Dallas I thought Id take the opportunity before I go back to Paris. To see some of his stuff"

Pam smiled. Bobby stood up and looked in Pams eyes. "Have a good day now" Bobby told her, his eyes filled with emotion. Pam nodded.Bobby moved closer to kiss her, Pam pulled away.

"I`ll be late" she explained "I`ll see for you dinner" Bobby nodded, and smiled awkwardly as she left. Lucy looked on him, she did not question his sadness, but she knew that even though Pam was back, it was still as if Bobby has still lost her.
