The Ewing
Family had many sad times as a family, one time especially was
the death of Jock Ewing.His helicopter crashed in South America
in 1981, his body was never found so a funeral never took place.
Ellie could not come to terms with her husbands death, until
one night..............
The Ewing family
gather for their 6pm meal as always, a tradition set by Jock
himself. Ellie looks up and notices that Jocks chair is empty.
She stares at it as she realizes that he will never again be
sitting at the Southfork table. She gets up and goes into the
kitchen. She shouts out "Why Jock". She then begins to get angry
as her grief takes over, she picks up the plates and cups and
starts smashing them with floods of tears streaming from her
eyes.
She cries out
again "Why Jock, Why?" as she smashes another plate. She stands
still as the tears flow, as her pain takes over she sinks to
the floor sobbing. She asks again "Why Jock, oh why did you
have to die , why ?" She cries as she finally comes to terms
with the fact that her long time husband is never coming back.
