This show saw the character of Jenna
Wade leave the show as she took up a new life with Ray Krebbs
in France. But it also showed the demise of Nicholas Pearce.
Nicholas had entered the show earlier on in the series and entered
Sue Ellen's life as she began to get tough, she divorced JR
and found her own independence, she also won custody of John
Ross. It was this custody battle which made JR, take John Ross
and put him in a special school where Sue Ellen couldn't find
him.
Nicholas loved Sue Ellen and he wouldn't`t
tolerate Sue Ellen being hurt anymore, he and Sue Ellen confronted
JR at his hotel suite and unforeseen circumstances ended Sue
Ellen's new love in tragic circumstances.................
 
Sue Ellen and Nick charge
into JR's hotel room and demand to know where John Ross is.
JR pulls out a gun, Nicholas jumps on him and the gun falls
to the floor. Sue Ellen begs them to stop, as the two men fight,
JR pushed Nicholas out onto the balcony.
 
Nick falls back over the
edge and is killed as he hits the ground below. Sue Ellen watches
in shock and bends down and picks up the gun
 
JR turns around to find
Sue Ellen pointing the gun at him. She lets of three shots and
JR falls to the ground. She watches on emotionlessly.
She gets up and walks over
to the phone, she pushes her hair back as she calls 911. The
operator answers, SueEllen without any emotion says" I`d
like to report a double murder. This is Sue Ellen Ewing"
