DALLAS
- Season 9
This series saw the return of
Bobby Ewing and began with the morning of Bobby and Pam's reconciliation.
The character of Pam had began life in 1978 as a strong tough
woman who was prepared to take on the Ewing clan. But during
this series are character had regressed to a pathetic state.
Pam and Bobby remarried in October 1986 and this was to be the
last time the family were together in its entirety. She spent
most of the series in an insecure state as Jenna gave birth
to Bobby's child and Pam felt vulnerable, unable to have a child
of her since her fall from the barn some years before. But in
her final episode Pamela found out she could now have a baby
and rang Bobby to tell him the good news. At long last her wish
had come true but tragedy was waiting just around the corner
in the form of a tanker. This episode was called `Fall of the
House of Ewing` and it was an apt title as things were never
quite the same again.

Bobby and Pam spend one
last morning together as a family as they explain to Christopher
about his adoption. Bobby tells him to look at Pamela because
thats his mummy and she loves him very much. But tragedy was
waiting just around the corner.

Pam is on the phone to Bobby, she tells
him the news that she can now carry a baby full term and that
she loves him and hangs up, but she didn`t notice the tanker
that was in the path of her car, she tried to swerve but it
was too late.
Her car smashed into the tanker.

Pams car explodes into flames.
Victoria Principal is never seen as Pamela Ewing again.
