I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

Do not make it spoofy. This was a great show and keep this one real. You need a family anchor, a Jock or Miss Ellie type. Nome of that crapvin the movie, that was an insult. Women must me strong and not victims. We are beyond accepting

This new series of Dallas will be the television series event of the year! If, and I hope it does, go to a series!

Fingers and all limbs firmly crossed.

Very exciting that TNT is going to make the NEW Dallas the quality show we know and love. Now if we could just get them to pick up the reruns as well. Larry Hagman will be a great asset and he hasnt lost it. Check him out on D Housewives. He was JR in disguise.

Two questions for TNT! When is the debut tentatively scheduled for the pilot? And what TNT show is “Dallas” replacing!

And I would also like to add don’t for get about the kick ass theme music. I love hearing that theme. And the opening was cool, showing Dallas. Hawaii 5-0 did a good job of bringing the theme music back. That’s the problem with TV shows today, no catchy theme music, it identifies the program. Like Gilligan Island and Brady Bunch.

Just look at the daytime soaps, why people are leaving in droves. Don’t have any respect for the senior actors. They’ve pissed away history of the shows like they did As The World Turns and Guiding Light, and look what happen to them. Don’t take lessons from the daytime soaps.

I agree with Craig. DALLAS is the grandpappy of them all. (Not counting Peyton Place.) The long history has LOTS to offer. The word is spreading and people are getting excited. I sent out an email to almost 30 people and now they are even getting pumped.

Please don’t forget about the history of the show and it’s long time fans. Don’t kill anybody off. Don’t make it into a CW 90210. Dallas deserves better than that, if they really care about the show and want it to succeed.

Exactly. We have to take care of the senior characters of the show as that is what we the viewers want to see. Sure, the additions to the cast will be younger and whatnot, but it should not be Dallas with training wheels.
