fantastic points altogether, you just gained a brand new reader. What would you suggest about your post that you made some days ago? Any positive?
The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

Howdy! Someone in my Facebook group shared this website with us so I came to check it out. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m book-marking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Exceptional blog and outstanding design.
I think a lot of fans would love Victoria Principal to come back. However, we all know she cannot come back as Pam. Victoria has been interviewed recently wondering how on earth she could possibly come back while maintaining integrity in the show.
There is a solution: Come back as… Victoria Principal. Yes, she plays herself!
Have a story where Ann (Bobby’s new wife) has a business relationship with Victoria via her skin care line. And ultimately, Bobby is introduced to her. Then… who knows?
that’s really good idea only there is one problem.
you want us to ignore that Victoria Principal and Pam look alike to each other.
it can be done if Victoria Principal and all the Dallas worker will agree for this idea.
there is other suggestion too.
she can be back as Pam we only heard she going to die.
what if her illness retreating backward like in Mark illness in the dream zone.
not like in Mark and Bobby.
we never heard she dead for sure we only heard the talk between Pam and her doctor after Bobby went away from the room and we understand she is going to die but never heard she died for sure we only assume that happened but again that’s can be for sure.
what would it be if Bobby and Ann will go for vacation or business meeting like the one Bobby took with Pam and found Gary only this time he will see for distance Pam and then the story came out and tell him she did not come back all the years because what would it be if her illness come back, how then both of them feel. but she also tell him all about him and what’s happened to him all those years.
I would like to see Cliff and his family too (Afton and Pamela Rebbecca)
You just dont know this really makes my day Dallas was the show on Friday nights. You know its a must JR, Bobby and Sue Ellen have to be on the show. I was a ture fan in the 80s and I will be a fan for this show also I cant wait for it to AIR…. Thank You
On that snippet alone I’m tuning in — The best night-time soap is back!
If they do not use as many of the original actors as possible, this whole thing will go to hell in a hand basket. In memory of Barbara Bel Geddes and Howard Keel they should have a painting of them as well as Jim Davis who played Jock. I hope the producers get back to the basics of this show when it was number one in the ratings.
please…. please… and again.. please.. dont kill off JR..
Just dont… dont give us something nice with one hand and scratch us at the same time with the other. He doesnt have to be an upfront “fixture” of the new show and at his age if the full schedule and life of a regular series star is a lot to take then film most of his stuff at once or spread out to accomodate but again, please do not kill off JR… ugh….
I am not sure why it is assumed that the Jack is the Jack from the original…
Jenna… Donna… who knows if they have even been approached about appearing and if they recast some of these characters it would be tense at best me thinks…
I have waited a long time for this…. at last, the Ewings will return… First, as I am a long time and fervent fan of Victoria Principal… if she wouldnt consider playing Pam should the story truly be that she never died because of advancements in the medical field but chose never to come back to Dallas (the city mind you) then what about casting Margaret Michaels to play Pam and as a story twist that brings it all together, have Bobby’s new wife ousted in favor of his twenty something year torch for Pam (even tho he moved on and married April and this new woman.. I know Bobby never stopped loving Pam, he just couldnt be with her) just my hoping out loud and hoping someone reads this and takes it to heart….
I am there no matter what, however, just get it on the air!!!!!
Its been far too long and we need more Dallas….
Oh, had it not been for those Friday nights…. sigh.. ugh…
Thank God for those Friday nights…..
James Lafferty for Christopher Ewing and James Spader as John Ross Ewing. PERFECT!
we want bobby and pam together writers please find a way to her return on dallas 2011 we need the two of them to restart the success of the show I’m sure of that thank you
Larry Hagman stated in an on-air interview with Johnny Dare (KQRC 98.9 FM The Rock, Kansas City) on Friday 1/14/11, that he (Hagman) had signed to star in the new Dallas Series.
I always had predicted that there would be a Dallas…The Next Generation on the air after all of the DVDs of the series was released.
This is a long running joke that’s gotten out of hand. Good job, you even had me believing it for a time. Just watched “Entertainment tonight” Gees what timing Larry Hagmen’s on there talkng about his guest starring role on “Desperate Housewives” this week. Not a mention about any pilot being done on “Dallas” or even his being on it. The gigs up guys, time to come clean on this bad gag, it’s been months now stop this crap of talk of a new show. This is supposed to be a credited web site, don’t make it a shambles. There is no new series!!!!!
Greg, I had no idea that UltimateDallas.com had such a world influence that they could convince one of the highest rated and most respected cable news channels to go along with their “long running joke that’s gotten out of hand”. Do a little research before you run your mouth because you sir are a tool.

Calling CNN a respected news channel does not lend you credibility.
I would have posted more links, but the form doesn’t allow it. It calls it spam. And just curious, what would you call a respected news source?
Linda Gray has to be Sue Ellen or it will suck. Jack Ewing? Didn’t Dack Rambo die or something or was that his twin? They should bring back Sasha Mitchel, James Richard Beaumont to shake things up a bit. Lucus should be a character as well as Charlie. I agree Gary and Val should finally come home to be with Lucy. Omri Katz and Josh Harris should play the roles of Jon Ross and Christopher since they are in their thirties now. Cliff Barnes should have a role if he is well enough I know he has been sick. Sly and Phillis should still work at Ewing Oil.
Looks good, i would like to see Gary, Val make an appearance and have the twins back in it perminantly, its good to see jenna, Ray, Donna back. I think christopher gets married flash back to pam and bobby. John Ross is knocking off the cooks daighter, flash back ray and Lucy. I do think that JR, Bobby Sue ellen should ancor the first series to establich the characters and maybe have some past vengencies come back, Katerine and maybe a sibbling of hers. I hope with Donna coming back that will bring back thir daughter into the show as a character. Barnes name can be left out unless Cliff and Aftons daighter comes back. How about the child JR and Calley Harper had??? these could all be flash points for the fortune. i hope it takes off and JR meeting a natural death would be real. I hope lucy stays in the cast, i can see her being strong brassy miss ellie esq person.
I love JR. dont get me wrong but he isnt going to be around forever and they need him on the series but they need to always focus on John Ross and Christopher and make sure they can fill Larry and Patricks shoes
I’m kind of surprised everyone is taking this so seriously. If this is a real rough draft (which is a very questionable if), it is, in the end, still a rough draft. An early draft of the script for the original pilot killed off Bobby and we all know how that turned out. My guess is if this script is the genuine article, it will undergo significant changes before it reaches the air, especially with casting still underway.
But something about this just doesn’t ring true. Bringing Jack Ewing back? Really? Of all the characters that could you make an argument to bring back for the new series, the case for Jack is one of the least compelling. Donna is another interesting choice although a bit more logical than Jack given that she raised Ray’s child.
It’s an interesting talking point nonetheless. I do think that J.R. has to be part of the narrative for at least the first season to give the show a real chance of making it. You can’t just kill the character most associated with “Dallas” in the debut and expect the fans of the original show (who will likely represent a large share of the initial audience) to be ok with that. Didn’t “Dallas” teach us anything about premature character deaths?
I agree that this is very little to go on. I also agree that on its face there seems to be no point in bringing back, of all characters, Jack Ewing. Finally, I couldn’t agree with you more that J.R. Ewing simply cannot bite the dust before the series even gets off the ground if it expects to ever get off the ground.
You must include J.R and Sue Ellen,Bobby and his wife or his new love interest along with Lucy,Cliff Barnes, and Gary Ewing along with Valene Ewing with all of the Ewing off springs.Even if you must recast some of the actors. You must be very careful how you introduce this to the new audience! This was a great T.V show.It must have history ,Legacy, and be able to relate to days interest (Hot M.I.L.F.S and beautiful young actors with FLAWED characters!!!)I’m sorry don’t forget about Ray the stable boy who was messing around with Lucy in the hay!!!We need him! All I’m saying is DON’T MESS THIS UP!!!
Does anyone know when Dallas is supposed to air? All of the conversation surrounding the comeback of Dallas has me so excited!
Somehow I doubt JR is the one to die. Judging from that snippet, they want us to believe that to be the case. But I get a sense that it wouldn’t be that obvious. Just likely a quote to mislead us.
There is NO reference to death in the small amount of lines. It could be a final conversation before one of the Ewings boys heads out on a long trip. This reminds me of the old days when things were shown to the public to get us talking. THANKS TO THE PERSON WHO STARTED THE CONVERSATION, I LOVE IT!! All I can say is, DALLAS IS BACK!!
I don’t think JR dies from old age. I think JR retires or just ignores Bobby altogether
Patrick Duffy signed on for the new series, so I don’t believe that these will be Bobby’s dying words. Also, I recently read that Larry Hagman was still in negotiations.
Victoria Principal has never conveyed any indications that she would be so much as remotely interested in reprising her role of Pam, so it is a virtual certainty that, unfortunately, Pam will not be returning to Dallas.
You got to remember in season 12 that right after cliff left the room Pam said to her doctor/lover she didn’t have no more then 3 months left to live. So if you just guessed right if Victoria ever came back it would not be as Pam.
I hope Morgan Brittany would make an appearance as Katherine.
I’d also love to see Sheree J. Wilson as April even though she
died.–Perhaps in a flashaback. Glad to see Ray Krebbs is in the
script and hope Steve Kanaly will play him.
THE ONE SLIGHT CHANGE TO MY LAST COMMENT IS THAT INSTEAD OF APRIL BEING SHOT IN HER BELLY SHE WAS FORCED TO WEAR A BLOOD BAG IN ORDER TO FAKE HER DEATH.
I just don’t know what goes threw a producers head when they make these remakes and never capture the magic, heart and soul of the original, if they kill of a beloved character I hope it fails. As previous comments have said is there going to be a Ewing Oil? Not an oil country anymore. I would like to see it more focus on the ranch, just watched the early episodes on CMT. They were great, it was more realism. Had weather, even snow and a hurricane. It’ lost me after they brought Bobby back, and when Jock died. It lost it’s western feel. I loved the kiss ass theme music, and the music during the show. That show defined the ’80’s. Good luck I hope, it turns out has well as we hope.
Correction Kick ass theme music.
Sorry but theres as much chance of me being in this as there is a return for characters like Katherine Wentworth. I completely love the original Dallas but this show will have to stand on its own 2 feet. It has to respect the original show and its fans but it will NEED a new audience to survive.
Killing JR is the obvious step, it deals with a great big shadow that would always hang over new Dallas. Reality says that near 80 yr old Larry Hagman isnt seriously going to be up to a full time TV schedule and the odd cameo here and there isnt really going to help the new cast breath.
I always thought the best way would be to start with JRs funeral and then go back a year and show how the actions of JR have saved the legacy and handed it on to the newer generation. (if this is anything like they do i want a producers credit, i said this years ago!)
Could I read this script online anywhere?
Nope sorry if you did the script before it was put into action would spoiled the new show before we even watched the show.
Let’s get the series off the ground first. Then, we can all push for our favorite characters to return. I am all for Katherine making a grand entrance.
It’s very disappointing that some main and interesting characters are not mentioned: Cliff Barnes, Afton Cooper, Gary Ewing, Valene Ewing and I also would have appreciated a comeback of Katherine Wentworth, who could bring back some evil plots into the new series, at least into the pilot. But obviously the writers and producers have other plans, what a pity!!!
They need to bring back Pam to be with Bobby. I also agree that without JR and SueEllen the show doesn’t seem to have a chance. I still say that bringing Pam back to Bobby and resolving the past issues will be a great place to restart the show.
I am very excited about this new series, I read awhile back about Jr reading a script where he is “Grandpa Ewing” so this little sneek peek has me wondering…..
Or maybe those are Bobby’s last words?
When is this suppose to air and where and when ?
dang i cant wait to see this cue the music put it on fridays at 900 or 1000 pm and im soooooooooooooooooooooo there
If they kill off JR in the Pilot they better bring him back for the Season Finale.
If this is true, the show will never last. Without J.R. and recasting Sue Ellen, it will never ever work!!!
Judging from that snippet, it sounds like (can this be?) J.R. will be the original character to die.
I think its Miss Ellie dying from Cancer. You just got to look that during the final years of the Series Miss Ellie and Clayton were Senior Citizens. This is now 2011 I believe as the same as the characters they would now be deceased. The actress that played as Miss Ellie died from Cancer. The actor to play Clayton Farlow died from Cancer.
