TNT announce new Dallas pilot episode. JR Ewing is back

TNT has announced today they have ordered a pilot episode of “Dallas” revamped by producer Cynthia Cidre, the producer of tv series “Cane.” The new soap would revolve around the kids of brothers JR and Bobby Ewing “who clash over the future of the Ewing dynasty while the fate of Southfork itself weighs in the balance.”

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

I guess Pamela and Bobby divorced on the show, so she can’t come back. Now I am remembering, I guess Jock did die on the show. I don’t remember if he died in person though. What was his cause of death? He was so good (Jim Davis). The way the show is so interesting, he could re-appear as a different star and Miss Ellie, too. Yeah, that J.R., he is the best. I love those new eyebrows! I believe it’s on tonite at 9 central time!!!!

This great tv show inspired me to come to Dallas to start my career where I met my beautiful smart boyfriend, and was very successful. I watched every episode. I recently purchased every episode on dvd. I miss the show and will be watching this one religiously. Hope it will be as successful and the original Dallas. I’d like to see Jock and Miss Ellie as the great grands. And the new Pam needs to go. We want Pamela!

I loved the old Dallas. Hopefully the new one will be as good as the old one. If the writers of this one remember how well the old series did and stick to a similar flow of writing as the old one then I’m sure it will be a hit. The answer to it is there all they have to do is review the old episodes and take their time to write it and learn from what they see on the old episodes and it will be good.
Make us Dallas fans proud and take your time to make something that was good even better!! Go New Dallas!!!

Great news. I liked Dallas, it was massive in the U.K.

However, I have to admit that my absolute FAVOURITE of the big USA soaps of that time was Falcon Crest. I would hope that this may also return, in time.

I was there for original airing of episode 1, season 1 in ’78 (ha, ha, I think it was 78), through to the end. Was there for the Dallas movies and will be there for this new TNT series. Take your time, just make it good!
