  • I just watched a rerun of Naked Gun on HBO yesterday. and now I read about his passing very sad indeed.

If they kill off J.R. They will kill off all the old watchers of the original. He makes that series what it is!!! The episode he dies….. I never watch it again!!! He is the man everyone loves to hate. Hell i would have voted for him for President.

  • Kay Goodschmidt says:

Please don’t run it against Desperate Housewives, I use to watch Dallas all the time but, I also won’t miss Desperate Housewives!!!

  • Jason says:

Lucy, Ray, Jenna, Bobby, Sue Ellen, JR, John Ross III, Christopher are all returning. Casting is done as well as filming.

  • Ken says:

It was such an unforgettable show, for me, one of the best ever that I still miss so much. With the propensity of reality shows these days I wish so much for a show like Dallas to be on TV. I hope the remake does well.

  • iloved theold show because iwas in love with bobby can they bring back theold dalleas inprimetime thank youfor a wonderful program aurora harmon iam also big fan of daLLAESS

  • Hilary says:

Filming is happening now for the pilot!

They will do this and see how its received. If want it to stay on, even if you can’t watch – turn on your TVs and TIVOs, watch it online soon after it airs (if we can – don’t know about that), etc., etc. The higher the viewership, the better chance we have of this getting taken up! Would hate to loose Dallas to some “reality” show!

  • David Horrocks says:

I heard they are still casting and more than likely will shoot the pilot and then see if it’s “bankable”. I think it would be a huge hit, introducing the show to a younger generation. Just hope it doesn’t stray to far from the original series and keeps Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray and Larry Hagmon involved in the plot lines and not just extras. Wish they would include other characters on occasion such as Ray Krebbs, Gary Ewing, Cliff Barnes, Jenna Wade-Krebbs Charlie and Lucas Wade, Dusty Farlow, James and Jimmy Beaumont Punk and Mavis Anderson and maybe Donna Culver-Krebbs. They also need to use the same house and interior set layout to make it believable.

  • Jason says:

Filming is to begin this month. That usually means a August/Sept airing.

  • Mickey says:

MAKE SURE YOU LET US KNOW WHEN THE PILOT AIRS

  • Leslie says:

I’m wondering if the new “Dallas” is going to ge any good or not. They certainly are taking their time about getting it on the air and are being very secretive about it.

  • Miriam says:

  • Gerard Fennell says:

The funniest episode (in my opinion) was when JR and Bobby left their offices with a case of wine. The elevator broke down on the way to the ground floor so the two of them began on the wine and ended up drunk!! Very funny!!

    • William Jurgens says:

This is my favorite episode as well, it is the 300th episode, aptly titled 300. This was an interesting epidsode in more ways than one. It was extremely funny, especially, when Bobby makes JR write up all these I.O.U’s to purchase wine and rent the corkscrew from him. It also was an episode in which JR and Bobby formed a very formidable working team and develop a plan to try to beat Weststar out of it’s major sale of oil to a European conglomerate. The brothers actually found a common ground to work together in the oil business, even Cliff Barnes was involved. Too bad it didn’t last, JR just couldn’t resist trying to take the underhanded role. But, that was his nature.

  • Orlando Black says:

It won’t be the same as the original Dallas 1978-1989!

  • Nelle says:

  • Candy says:

Good, I would love to see the show return. Will there be a “Pam”?

  • Christopher says:

When is new Series of dallas on TNT Coming

  • August says:

I can’t wait for JR to send Sue Ellen on another 5-day alcoholic binge….Love Her!

  • Jason says:

Pam is dead. JR will be dead at the end of the pilot episode of the new Dallas.
