Oliva Newton-John in Dallas Movie talks

It is quite likely that fans will get to see ‘Grease’ stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John together on-screen after around 30 years in the upcoming flick Dallas.

The English born Australian singer/actress is in talks to land the role of Pamela Ewing, in the movie remake of the hit eighties soap opera.

Travolta, who played Danny Zuko in the 1978 musical, has already signed up to play J.R. Ewing.

If Newton-John gets the part, she will be playing Travolta’s on-screen sister-in-law.

Travolta revealed that Newton-John was excited about the idea of working together once again in the serial’s remake.

“We’ve had talks and I think she’d be great playing Pam Ewing. She loved the TV version and was delighted with the idea too. The movie should get shooting later in the year,” Contactmusic quoted Travolta, as saying.

The movie will be directed by ‘Bend it like Beckham’ director Gurinder Chadha.
